Most Outstanding Students Selection (Pilmapres)

The Directorate of Student Affairs is committed to achieving performance indicators of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, which is increasing the number of outstanding students. The increase in the number of outstanding students is supported through the most outstanding student selection.

The Most Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres) has been started since 1986 which in its implementation experienced ups and downs including changing of names or terms and acronyms. The use of the term The Most Outstanding Student (Mawapres) began in 2004 and then in 2017 began with the acronym Pilmapres. Pilmapres is considered to have a positive impact on the achievement culture and respect for student achievement and work, including models for student coaching in university and directly or indirectly can elevate the dignity of students and their university

Pilmapres provides motivation for achievement among students and creates a better academic culture. In addition, it is hoped that this selection process can be adopted into a system of achievement coaching in university
