  • Capture Fisheries Partnership Communication Forum (FK2PT)

FK2PT established on October 16, 2006 at IPB Bogor Campus by group of stakeholders consisting of academics, industry, and government related to capture fisheries in Indonesia.

FK2PT aims to contribute ideas to legislative institutions, executives, universities, industry, and other formal institutions as well as individuals who care about the progress of capture fisheries to realize sustainable capture fisheries and the creation of a competitive national fishing industry.

To realize capture fisheries as above, it must be supported by fish resources, competent human resources, capital, technology and information as well as policies that create a conducive business climate.

Collaborative activities:

  1. Seminar Nasional Nasional Perikanan Tangkap 6, Oktober 2015, dengan tema “Pembangunan Perikanan Tangkap Berbasis Riset dan Teknologi dalam Menghadapi Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN”.
  2. Seminar Nasional Perikanan Tangkap 7 dan Mini International Symposium Capture Fisheries, dengan tema ‘‘Pembangunan Perikanan Laut Yang Berkelanjutan dan Berkeadilan‘‘, yang dirangkaikan dengan “International Workshop on Sustainable Fisheries Capture”.
  3. Penerbitan jurnal ilmiah “Marine Fisheries”. Jurnal mengenai teknologi dan manajemen perikanan laut), terakreditasi DOAJ.
  4. Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Pengembangan SDM. Kegiatan ini terlaksana secara institusi dengan dikirimnya dosen-dosen dari universitas di luar IPB untuk melakukan program dosen magang. Kepemimpinan publik lainnya diwujudkan secara formal dengan membentuk suatu forum yang beranggotakan akademisi, pengusaha dan pemerintah yang bekerja dalam lingkup tersebut.
