  4. Developfishing technology
  5. Comprehend of fishing ground to optimize fish catching
  6. Design the system of fisheries industry
  7. Implement fishing port knowledge within fisheries business system
  8. Implement fishing port planning techniques
  9. Conduct underwater monitoring and observation activities
  10. Assess fishery resources management policy

Curriculum Structure

Curriculum developed in accordance with the predetermined competence of the study programme. In general, courses are developed from 5 divisions at the program study those are: 1) fishing technology, 2) fishing gear, 3) fishing vessels and marine transportation, 4) marine fisheries system and policy, 5) fishing ports and management policy

Course Design

CFTM Program Study students must take a minimum of 144 credits to graduate. The course consists of 4 subjects groups namely: 1) General Competency Educational Program (PPKU) (13 courses, 32 credits); 2) Interdepartment (9 courses, 25 credits); 3) Fishing Technology and Management Major (27 courses, 80 credits; including 1 seminar credits and 6 thesis credits); 4) Minor / Options (Supporting Courses) (minimum 2 credits). Timelines of the course suggested is shown in Table 1. Compulsory Courses is shown in Table 5.
